Construction of Transcriptome Atlas of White Yak Hair Follicle During Anagen and Catagen Using Single-Cell RNA Sequencing

The study constructed a transcriptome atlas of white yak hair follicles during anagen and catagen phases using single-cell RNA sequencing. It analyzed gene expression in dermal and epidermal cell lineages, revealing the specialization of cell fates at the single-cell level. Enrichment analysis identified transcriptional regulatory factors involved in different cell fates. These findings aimed to improve understanding of the yak hair follicle cycle and support the development and utilization of yak villus.
