TLDR The combination therapy improved hair growth and thickness in people with androgenetic alopecia.
This study evaluated the efficacy of a combination therapy containing oleanolic acid, apigenin, and biotinyl tripeptide-1 in treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) over 3 months, involving 48 participants. Participants were divided into two groups: one using only a topical spray and the other using both the spray and oral capsules. Results showed significant improvements in hair density, hair shaft thickness, and anagen/telogen ratio in both groups, with the combination therapy group showing more pronounced effects. The study suggests that this combination therapy could be a promising alternative for AGA management, though long-term effects require further investigation.
