TLDR Hair loss lotion with specific ingredients effectively improves hair growth and thickness safely.
The study evaluated the efficacy and safety of a new topical hair loss-lotion containing oleanolic acid, apigenin, biotinyl tripeptide-1, diaminopyrimidine oxide, adenosine, biotin, and Ginkgo biloba in patients with androgenetic alopecia and telogen effluvium. The lotion was found to be effective and safe for once-daily use for 6-12 months, resulting in increased total and anagen hairs, increased overall thickness and scalp coverage, and patient-reported reduction in hair loss. The key ingredients in the lotion act against the principal causes of hair loss, namely poor scalp microcirculation, follicle ageing, and follicle atrophy caused by dihydrotestosterone. The study adds clinical evidence on the efficacy of this particular combination of ingredients in normal use conditions.
