The study evaluated the therapeutic efficacy of a combination therapy of topical 17α-estradiol and topical minoxidil on female pattern hair loss (FPHL). The study found that the combination therapy was effective in improving hair growth and reducing hair loss in the majority of the patients. The study suggests that the combination therapy of topical 17α-estradiol and topical minoxidil can be a potential treatment option for female pattern hair loss.
