Improvement in Scalp Hair Appearance Following Treatment With a Non-Ablative Fractional Laser: A Retrospective Observational Study

    The study evaluated the effectiveness of a non-ablative fractional laser (NAFL) in treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and improving scalp hair appearance. Conducted at LaserMed Clinic in Poland, it was a retrospective observational study involving 132 patients, with 98 having adequate quality photos for assessment. The primary endpoint was the correct classification of before and after treatment images, with a success rate of 96.9%. The treatment was deemed safe, as no adverse events were reported. The study concluded that NAFL is a safe and effective method for promoting visible hair growth and enhancing scalp hair appearance.
