The Effect of a 1550 Nm Fractional Erbium-Glass Laser in Female Pattern Hair Loss

    The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a 1550 nm fractional erbium-glass laser in treating female pattern hair loss (FPHL). The study involved 27 patients who received 10 laser treatments over five months. The results showed a significant increase in hair density and thickness, with no significant adverse effects. The study concluded that the 1550 nm fractional erbium-glass laser may be an effective and safe treatment option for women with FPHL.
