The Safety and Efficacy of a Proprietary Bioactive Fatty Acids Extract From Saw Palmetto (Serenoa Repens) for Promoting Hair Growth and Reducing Hair Loss in Adults With Self-Perceived Thinning Hair: 90-Day Results

The study assessed the safety and efficacy of SEREVELLE, a bioactive fatty acids extract from saw palmetto, for hair growth and reducing hair loss in adults with self-perceived thinning hair over 90 days. Involving 60 participants (40 in the active group and 20 in the placebo group), the results showed significant improvements in hair density, volume, and reduction in hair shedding in the active group compared to placebo. The active treatment led to increased anterior and posterior terminal and vellus hair counts, with high subject satisfaction and no significant adverse events. The findings support SEREVELLE as a safe and effective treatment for hair thinning in both men and women.
