Results indicated that from Weeks 6 to 22, the eflornithine-treated side showed a significant reduction in hair growth, although by Week 34, the differences were not significant. However, subjective assessments reported significant and persistent hair reduction on the eflornithine-treated side through Week 34. The combination therapy was found to be as safe as using eflornithine alone, and participants preferred the combined treatment approach.
