Ten male patients aged 25-35 received PRP injections in the scalp over a year, experiencing increased pain sensitivity after each application, with the highest hyperalgesia observed in the first year post-treatment (p < 0.05). Hair density increased by 6.4%, 9.4%, 21%, and 27.6% at 1, 2, 6, and 12 months, respectively. The study concluded that repeated PRP injections could cause hyperalgesia, potentially due to growth factors in PRP, and recommended further research to understand this phenomenon.
