TLDR PRP is effective for improving the appearance around the eyes.
This narrative review discussed the growing importance of minimally invasive techniques for periorbital rejuvenation, with a particular focus on the use of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP). PRP has gained popularity in dermatology for its ability to rejuvenate skin by promoting dermal fibroblast proliferation, matrix metalloproteinase expression, and collagen synthesis. The review highlighted the potential of PRP as an effective solo therapy or as part of multimodality treatment regimens for enhancing the cosmetic appearance of the periorbital region.
