TLDR The topical treatment reduced hair loss and improved hair growth in patients with certain types of hair loss.
A clinical study involving 60 patients (56 women and 4 men, average age 42) with telogen effluvium (TE) and mild androgenetic alopecia (AGA) found that a topical regenerative treatment, a gel mimicking autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), was effective in reducing hair loss and improving hair growth. The gel was applied once a week for 3 months, resulting in a mean improvement score of 1.88, indicating moderate improvement and cessation of hair loss. Trichoscopic assessment showed an increase in hair quantity and diameter. Patients reported high satisfaction with the product and no major side effects were observed. However, the study's conclusions are limited by the small number of participants, suggesting that a larger study could provide more accurate results.
