TLDR SVF-PRP therapy effectively reverses hair loss effects.
The study investigated the effectiveness of using a combination of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in reversing the effects of androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The study involved 22 patients with AGA who were divided into two groups: PRP group and SVF-PRP group. The results showed that SVF-PRP therapy was more effective in increasing hair density, reducing hair fall, and improving physician and patient global assessment scores compared to PRP therapy alone. The study suggests that SVF-enriched PRP therapy could be a promising treatment for AGA.
