TLDR New sensor detects minoxidil accurately and effectively.
This paper describes the development of a novel voltammetric sensor for detecting minoxidil using electropolymerized molecularly imprinted polymer. The sensor was designed using computational methods and showed high selectivity and sensitivity for minoxidil detection. The study demonstrates the potential of molecularly imprinted polymers as a promising approach for developing sensors for pharmaceuticals. The developed sensor was applied to determine MX in real samples and showed good recoveries and RSD.
