TLDR Quick method to measure minoxidil in blood, accurate and useful for labs.
This study developed a rapid and sensitive method for analyzing minoxidil in human plasma using ion-pair HPLC. The method has a minimum detectable limit of 0.5 ng ml-¹ and is suitable for routine application in clinical laboratories. The plasma concentrations of minoxidil were determined in 12 healthy volunteers who received 20 mg of minoxidil each, and the results were in agreement with previous reports.
