TLDR The plant extract remedy Satura® Rosta promotes hair growth and regrowth without negative effects.
The study investigated the effects of the plant extract-based remedy Satura® Rosta on hair growth in various strains of mice. Prolonged application of the remedy did not cause negative effects and significantly increased hair follicle size, hair root volume, and skin thickness due to adipose elaboration, particularly among the largest hair follicles. The remedy appeared to prolong the anagen phase of hair growth without disrupting the natural hair growth cycle. While the remedy had minimal impact on fur appearance in young mice, it promoted hair regrowth in older mice with alopecia. Transcriptome analysis indicated significant changes in gene expression related to the cell cycle, developmental processes, and lipid metabolism.
