TLDR 675 nm laser therapy effectively improves hair growth and density in AGA patients.
The study evaluated the efficacy of 675 nm wavelength laser therapy for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 20 Indian patients aged 23-57 years. Over 14 sessions, patients showed significant improvements in hair parameters, including a 17% increase in hair count and density, and a 13.91% increase in mean hair thickness. Both terminal and vellus hair counts and densities also significantly increased by approximately 17% and 16%, respectively. The findings suggest that 675 nm laser therapy effectively enhances hair growth and density in AGA patients.
