A 6-Month, Prospective, Multi-Arm Study for the Efficacy of Standardized Nutraceuticals to Improve Hair Fiber Thickness and Strength

This 6-month study with 252 participants assessed the efficacy of Nutrafol® nutraceuticals in improving hair fiber thickness and strength among various demographics experiencing hair thinning. By day 180, all groups showed significant increases in hair shaft diameter and reductions in hair breakage and shedding. Both investigator assessments and self-reports indicated improvements in hair strength, length, thickness, and overall health. Despite the study's open-label design and absence of a placebo group, the findings suggest that these nutraceuticals are effective interventions for enhancing hair growth and quality across diverse populations.
