The study investigated the effects of Yangxue Shengfa Capsules on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice. The results showed that these capsules significantly accelerated skin darkening and increased the number of hair follicles and skin blood vessels. Additionally, there was a notable increase in the integrated optical density of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the treated group compared to the model group. The conclusion was that Yangxue Shengfa Capsules promoted hair growth by enhancing VEGF levels, hair follicle numbers, and skin vascularization.
