TLDR Proteoglycans, especially in Nourkrin®, can effectively and safely treat hair loss.

The study explores the role of proteoglycans in treating various forms of alopecia, emphasizing the effectiveness of Nourkrin®, a product containing a specific proteoglycan complex. Clinical trials with 55 patients (mostly male) showed a 35.7% increase in hair quantity and density after 6 months of Nourkrin® use, compared to 1.5% in the placebo group. Another study with female participants found that 92.1% experienced improved hair growth after 3 months, with satisfaction rates rising to 98.25% after 6 months. No significant side effects were observed, indicating that proteoglycans could be a safe and effective treatment for hair loss.
