TLDR Exosome therapy successfully regrew and restored natural hair color in a man with stress-related hair loss.
A 39-year-old male with alopecia areata linked to psychological stress achieved complete hair regrowth and restoration of natural hair color after six months of treatment with rose stem cell-derived exosomes (RSCEs) and thulium laser therapy. Traditional treatments were ineffective, but RSCEs led to initial vellus hair regrowth within one month, increased density and pigmentation by three months, and complete regrowth with natural pigmentation by six months. The treatment was well-tolerated with no adverse effects, suggesting RSCE therapy as a promising alternative for stress-induced alopecia areata without the side effects of corticosteroids. Further studies are needed to confirm its efficacy and optimize treatment protocols.
