TLDR The hair tonic improved hair growth and thickness without severe side effects.
The study investigated the efficacy of a hair tonic containing human umbilical cord blood mesenchymal stem cell-derived conditioned medium in 30 patients with androgenetic alopecia. Results showed significant improvements in hair density, increasing from 125.2 to 134.6 hairs/㎠, hair thickness from 0.083 to 0.110 mm, and hair growth rate from 0.285 to 0.338 mm/day over 16 weeks. No severe adverse reactions were reported, suggesting that this hair tonic could be an effective alternative treatment for androgenetic alopecia.
