TLDR Microneedling radiofrequency significantly improves hair growth with minimal side effects.
The study evaluated the efficacy and safety of microneedling radiofrequency (MNRF) in treating patterned hair loss in 24 patients. Participants received three monthly MNRF sessions, and results were assessed through photographs and trichoscopy. Significant hair growth improvement was observed in 14 patients, fair improvement in seven, and no improvement in three, with slight pain being the most common adverse effect. The study concluded that MNRF is effective and safe for most patients, though it lacked a control group and had a small sample size. Future studies could explore combining MNRF with other treatments for enhanced results.
