TLDR Microneedles help treat hair loss by improving hair surroundings and promoting growth.
Ceria nanozyme-integrated microneedles have potential as a treatment for androgenetic alopecia by reshaping the perifollicular microenvironment and promoting hair growth. Studies have shown that these microneedles can reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, increase blood vessel formation, and deliver nutrients and bioactive molecules to hair follicles. The treatment has been successful in promoting hair growth in mice and has potential for use in humans. Further research is needed to determine the efficacy of this treatment in humans.
