TLDR Cedrol cream is more effective and safe for promoting hair growth than traditional treatments.

In the 2018 study, researchers developed a cedrol cream to enhance hair growth and improve its delivery over the traditionally used cedrol ethanol. The cream demonstrated significantly better skin absorption and hair growth-promoting effects in animal models. The cedrol cream-treated mice showed faster pigmentation, longer hair, and more hair follicles in the anagen phase than those treated with cedrol ethanol and minoxidil. The study concluded that cedrol cream is more effective for promoting hair growth and is safe for topical use. The study involved 10 C57BL/6 mice and 6 Wistar rats for the hair growth studies, and 5 KM mice for the dermatopharmacokinetic studies.
