TLDR Domestic and imported finasteride tablets work the same in the body.
The study aimed to evaluate the bioequivalence of domestic and imported finasteride tablets in the human body. It involved 18 volunteers who were administered a single oral dose of 10 mg finasteride, and their serum concentrations were measured using HPLC. The results showed that the pharmacokinetic parameters, including AUC, C max, and t max, were similar between the two formulations. The relative bioavailability of the domestic tablets was 103.35% compared to the imported ones, indicating that both were bioequivalent.
