TLDR Finasteride granules and tablets work the same in the body.
The study aimed to evaluate the bioequivalence of finasteride granules and tablets in 22 healthy male volunteers using a randomized self-crossover design. The pharmacokinetic parameters were analyzed using HPLC-MS/MS, and results showed that the finasteride granules were bioequivalent to the tablets. Key pharmacokinetic parameters such as Cmax, tmax, t1/2, and AUC were similar between the two formulations, with the granules showing bioequivalence percentages of 105.17% and 106.35% for F0-t and F0-∞, respectively.
