TLDR The two brands of finasteride tablets work the same in the body.
The study investigated the pharmacokinetics and relative bioavailability of test and reference finasteride tablets in 20 healthy male volunteers using a randomized crossover design. The results showed that the pharmacokinetic parameters, including Cmax, tmax, t1/2, AUC0~24h, and AUC0~∞, were similar for both test and reference tablets. The relative bioavailability of the test tablets was 100.2%, indicating that the two brands of tablets were bioequivalent.

The post and conversation are about the role of the enzyme 3alpha-hydroxysteroid reductase in hair loss and the potential of compounds like procyanidin B2 and sulforaphane to boost its activity for hair regrowth. Further research is needed to develop effective treatments based on this theory.
