The review article addressed the issue of hair loss and evaluated the formulation of herbal hair tonics using plant extracts known for promoting hair growth, such as green tea and others. The study concluded that a herbal hair tonic containing 2.5% green tea leaf extract was the most effective formulation. This tonic included 75% ethanol, 10% propylene glycol, 1% tween 80, 0.1% menthol, 0.2% sodium metabisulfite, 0.025% Na2EDTA, 0.075% methyl paraben, and water. The evaluation of this formulation met the required standards, and the hair growth activity test showed a hair weight parameter of 22.20 mg/cm².
