Use of the Drug Wolvit (Biotin 5 mg) in Treatment of Diffuse Telogen Alopecia

    TLDR Wolvit® (biotin 5 mg) is effective and safe for treating hair loss and scalp conditions in women.
    The study on Wolvit® (biotin 5 mg) for treating diffuse telogen alopecia involved 54 female patients aged 18-40, divided into a treatment group (28) and a control group (26). Over 3 months, the treatment group showed significant improvements, including reduced hair loss, decreased hair greasiness, and increased hair thickness and growth rate. The study concluded that Wolvit® is effective and safe for treating alopecia and seborrheic dermatitis, though further research into other causes of hair loss was recommended.
