TLDR Both Unani treatments effectively reduced hair shedding in Telogen Effluvium.
A randomized, single-blind clinical trial involving 40 patients with Telogen Effluvium compared the efficacy of two Unani formulation combinations: Itrifal Kishneezi with Roghan Amla Khas and with Roghan Baiza Murgh. Both treatments significantly reduced hair shedding and improved clinical and trichoscopic outcomes. Although Itrifal Kishneezi with Roghan Amla Khas showed a relatively faster early response, the overall therapeutic efficacy of both regimens was comparable, with no statistically significant intergroup differences.
