Comparative Evaluation of Two Unani Formulation Combinations in the Treatment of Telogen Effluvium: A Randomized, Single-Blind Clinical Trial

This randomized, single-blind clinical trial assessed the efficacy of two Unani formulation combinations in treating telogen effluvium in 40 female participants over 45 days. Both groups received oral Itrifal Kishneezi, with Group A using topical Roghan Amla Khas and Group B using Roghan Baiza Murgh. Both treatments significantly improved hair shedding and follicular health, with Group A showing a faster initial response. However, final outcomes were comparable between the groups. The study supports the effectiveness of both Unani regimens, highlighting their potential as safe, natural options for hair loss management, while recommending further research with larger samples and double-blind designs.
