TLDR Human bone marrow stem cells increased skin tissue growth in diabetic rats with burns, but not significantly.
The study investigated the effect of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (hBM-MSC) on the microscopic appearance of adnexal tissue in the skin of diabetic rats with burn injuries. Using 30 rats divided into control and treatment groups, the research found an increase in the total growth of skin adnexal tissue after administering hBM-MSC. However, there was no significant impact on the average diameter of the tissue growth. Statistical analysis using Two-Way ANOVA showed no significant differences in the total number and average diameter of adnexal tissue growth, with p-values of 0.621 and 0.427, respectively. The conclusion was that while hBM-MSC influenced adnexal tissue growth, the results were not statistically significant.
