TLDR Latanoprost and minoxidil effectively control hair loss and increase hair count.
A 180-day double-blind study compared the effectiveness of latanoprost and minoxidil in treating hair loss among 6 groups: placebo, 5% minoxidil, 5% minoxidil + 0.005% latanoprost, 0.005% latanoprost, 5% minoxidil + 0.010% latanoprost, and 0.010% latanoprost. Results showed significant improvement in hair strand count and anagen hair strands for groups treated with 5% minoxidil, 5% minoxidil + 0.005% latanoprost, 0.005% latanoprost, and 5% minoxidil + 0.010% latanoprost. The 0.010% latanoprost group did not show significant differences compared to the placebo. The study concluded that these treatments were effective in controlling hair loss and increasing the total number of hair strands.

community Why not Travopost? More effective than min, and stackable.

Travoprost may be more effective than minoxidil for hair growth and can be used alongside it, but its effectiveness is debated due to inconsistent dosing results. Travoprost is expensive and not widely used, with alternatives like latanoprost and bimatoprost being more accessible.
