TLDR Laser-assisted drug delivery improves hair loss.
A study from 5 years ago found that using fractional non-ablative laser-assisted drug delivery can improve male and female pattern hair loss. The study involved 20 patients who received treatment with a laser and a topical solution containing minoxidil and finasteride, resulting in significant improvement in hair density and thickness after 12 weeks. This combination therapy may be a promising approach for treating pattern hair loss. The treatment involves using fractional lasers to assist in the penetration of topical medications to the skin, which can enhance their effectiveness. All cases reported in the study showed some degree of hair regrowth, and there were no side effects.
