The study developed a simple and effective method for preparing highly-concentrated autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with a concentration of over 1∙10^6 1/µl from fresh blood of 5 healthy donors. By optimizing heparin concentrations to 5 U/ml, the researchers minimized clotting and maintained platelet reactivity, achieving a 54 ± 7% aggregation rate upon activation with adenosine diphosphate (ADP). The method ensured that less than 20% of platelets had altered shape and granularity, indicating their ability to release growth factors and other biologically active compounds. This preparation minimized hemorrhage risks at injection sites, supporting its use in cell therapy for wound healing and tissue regeneration.
