HB-EGF Improves the Hair Regenerative Potential of Adipose-Derived Stem Cells via ROS Generation and Hck Phosphorylation

This treatment led to increased hair follicle formation and growth in mouse models, suggesting that HB-EGF could be a promising therapeutic agent for hair loss by improving ADSC functions. Key mechanisms included ROS generation via NOX4 activity in mitochondria and the secretion of thrombopoietin (THPO), which stimulated dermal papilla cells (DPCs).
