TLDR SVF injections improve hair growth and reduce hair loss in people with androgenic alopecia.
The study assessed the efficacy of non-enzymatic stromal vascular fraction (SVF) injections in treating androgenic alopecia (AGA) in 30 patients (14 males, 16 females). After a single SVF injection and a 6-month follow-up, significant improvements were observed in hair shaft caliber (51.35% increase), hair count (16.09% increase), and terminal to vellus hair ratio (5.7% increase). Patient satisfaction was high, with 53.3% reporting significant improvement and 20% marked improvement. Mild to moderate pain was reported during the procedure, with no severe pain or other side effects. The study concluded that SVF injections are a promising treatment for AGA, enhancing hair density and reducing hair loss.
