TLDR Saponin astragaloside from Astragalus membranaceus Bunge effectively enhances eyebrow growth.
The study investigated the effects of a hair-nourishing cosmetic containing 0.5% saponin astragaloside from Astragalus membranaceus Bunge on eyebrow growth and development. Conducted over 6 weeks, the study involved the same subjects with the experimental group applying the product to the right eyebrow and the control group using no astragaloside on the left eyebrow. Results showed significant increases in eyebrow length, root, and thickness in the experimental group, confirming the effectiveness of saponin astragaloside as a natural substance. Subjective assessments also supported its usability and market value. The findings suggested that such cosmetics could help improve and maintain eyebrow growth, indicating potential for product development.
