TLDR Dansam-Samultang promotes hair growth and prevents hair loss.
The study evaluated the hair growth effects of Dansam-Samultang on C57BL/6 mice. Four groups were tested: control (saline), positive control (minoxidil 3%), and two experimental groups with Dansam-Samultang (ethanol 2% and toner 2%). Over four weeks, hair growth was observed, and blood and skin samples were analyzed. Results showed no significant differences in body weight, water, and feed consumption among groups. However, macroscopic and histological observations indicated that Dansam-Samultang promoted hair growth, with increased follicle number and depth, and dermal thickness, suggesting its effectiveness in hair growth and hair loss prevention.
