TLDR Cynatine HNS improves hair and nail quality in 90 days.
In the 2014 clinical trial, Cynatine HNS, a keratin-based supplement, was tested on 50 female participants to assess its impact on hair and nail health over a 90-day period. The study was randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled, with 25 participants in the active group and 25 in the placebo group. The results showed that the active group experienced statistically significant improvements in hair loss, hair growth, hair strength, amino acid composition, and hair luster, as well as nail strength and appearance, compared to the placebo group. The anagen/telogen ratio of hair growth phases improved by 9.2% at Day 90, and hair tensile strength increased by 5.9%. Nail quality also improved significantly, with 87.5% of subjects on Cynatine HNS showing less tendency for nails to break. The study concluded that Cynatine HNS is an effective supplement for improving hair and nail quality within 90 days, without any reported adverse events.
