The study aimed to develop an optimal cream-mask base for the prevention and treatment of androgenetic alopecia (AA) using Saw palmetto dry extract and Sophora Japonica tincture. The research involved physical, biopharmaceutical, and microscopic analyses to determine the best formulation. It concluded that the most effective bases for consumer and pharmaco-technological properties included a combination of emulsifiers MONTANOV 68 and NatureMulse or Olivem 1000 polymers, along with Carbopol (0.5%) and guar gum (1%).
