    The study explored the therapeutic potential of Annurca apple extract (AT HAIR-FUL AA®) against oxidative stress and patterned hair loss (PHL). Rich in procyanidin B2 and chlorogenic acid, the extract demonstrated significant antioxidant activity and cytoprotective effects on human follicle dermal papilla cells (HFDPCs) under hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress. It reduced intracellular ROS levels, increased antioxidant enzyme expression (SOD2 and CAT), and enhanced β-catenin and FGF-2 expression, crucial for hair growth. A randomized, double-blind controlled trial showed that taking two capsules per day significantly decreased hair loss and increased hair weight and density, suggesting its potential as a natural treatment for hair loss.
