A Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Effect of an Annurca Apple Supplement Formula in Androgenic Alopecia

The study evaluated the efficacy of an Annurca apple fruit extract supplement, AT HAIR-FUL AA®, in promoting hair growth among 80 subjects with androgenic alopecia. The subjects were divided into two groups: 40 took the AT HAIR-FUL AA® supplement and 40 took a placebo, with each group undergoing 180 days of treatment, taking 2 capsules per day. The results showed that the AT HAIR-FUL AA® supplement significantly affected hair loss, with hair density and weight significantly increasing and hair loss significantly decreasing over time (p<0.001). The product also demonstrated good skin and gastrointestinal tolerability. The study concluded that the AT HAIR-FUL AA® food supplement could potentially be used as an agent to induce hair growth.
