TLDR Combining two treatments for hair loss works better than using just one.
The systematic review "ALOPECIA ANDROGENÉTICA: MINOXIDIL ORAL VERSUS OUTRAS TERAPIAS MEDICAMENTOSAS" compared oral minoxidil therapy for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) with other drug therapies such as oral finasteride, Platelet-Rich Plasma, Fibroblast Growth Factors, topical cetirizine, and phototherapy. The study found that combining two therapies yielded superior results compared to using just one. While some patients reported adverse effects from the medications, few had to stop treatment because of these reactions.
