The study found specific skin cells and genes that may affect the quality of cashmere in Liaoning Cashmere Goats.
research Single-Cell Sequencing Reveals Differential Cell Types in Skin Tissues of Liaoning Cashmere Goats and Key Genes Potentially Related to the Fineness of Cashmere Fiber
Certain genes are linked to the quality of cashmere in goats.
research All-Trans Retinoic Acid Modulates Proliferation And Apoptosis Of Secondary Hair Follicle–Dermal Papilla Cells In Cashmere Goats Via The TGF-β2/Smad2/3 Pathway
This study investigated the effects of all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) on secondary hair follicle–derived dermal papilla cells (SHF-DPCs) in cashmere goats. ATRA was found to inhibit cell proliferation and promote apoptosis by inducing G1-phase cell cycle arrest and altering the expression of apoptosis-related proteins Bax and Bcl-2. Transcriptomic analysis revealed that ATRA upregulated TGF-β2 expression, implicating the TGF-β2/Smad2/3 signaling pathway in these processes. The use of a TGF-β receptor inhibitor partially reversed ATRA's effects, supporting the pathway's involvement. These findings suggest that ATRA regulates hair growth in cashmere goats by modulating SHF-DPC proliferation and apoptosis through the TGF-β2/Smad2/3 pathway.

Hair loss treatments discussed include Dutasteride with Ketoconazole, tissue engineering strategies, and androgenetic alopecia therapies. Massage doubles follicular retention, improving treatment effectiveness.
community Occipitalis Muscle Tension Theory
Scalp tension from the occipitalis muscle is theorized to contribute to hair loss, but most believe DHT and genetics are the main causes. Treatments like finasteride and minoxidil are considered more effective than addressing scalp tension.
community PP405: Regrows Hair In 8 Weeks. Is This The Miracle Cure?
PP405 is considered as a potential hair regrowth treatment, but users are skeptical due to past product failures. They compare it to Minoxidil and Finasteride, questioning its effectiveness and the intentions of pharmaceutical companies.
community PP405 Won’t Work: Follicle Is Miniaturized, Fibrosed, And Missing Key Support Cells
PP405 is ineffective for miniaturized, fibrosed hair follicles in androgenetic alopecia. AMP303 may activate hair follicle stem cells, but minoxidil and finasteride are still the main treatments.
community The Real Cause Of Androgenetic Alopecia
Androgenetic alopecia is caused by DHT affecting hair growth. Finasteride and minoxidil are used to manage hair loss by blocking DHT and promoting hair growth.
