However, the occurrence of multiple trichofolliculomas is rare. These lesions are identified by a dermal keratin cyst with a cyst wall that shows radiating hair follicles. This case was notable for the unusual presentation of multiple trichofolliculomas on the face, which clinically resembled multiple trichoepitheliomas.
