Dermal Sheath Cells are specialized cells that surround the base of hair follicles. They play a crucial role in hair growth and regeneration by providing structural support and signaling molecules that influence the behavior of other cells within the hair follicle. These cells are essential for maintaining the health and function of hair follicles, making them a key focus in research on hair loss and treatments for conditions like alopecia.
