TLDR PRP injections increase hair density and satisfaction in androgenetic alopecia patients.
The study investigated the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections in treating androgenetic alopecia in both males and females over a one-year period. The results showed an increase in hair density, and patients reported a high satisfaction rate with the treatment. However, the study suggests that more randomized, controlled, double-blind studies with larger sample sizes, longer follow-up periods, and objective evaluation methods are needed to determine the full potential of PRP injections as a treatment option for hair loss.
