TLDR Cucumber hair tonic formulations are stable and may help with hair loss.
This study explores the formulation of a herbal hair tonic using cucumber (Cucumis sativus L) to address hair loss. Cucumber was extracted using the infusion method and developed into three different hair tonic formulations, each tested three times for physical stability. The tests included organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, and viscosity assessments. Results indicated that the formulations were physically stable, with a homogenous appearance and pH values of 5.87, 6.12, and 6.49, and viscosity values of 0.0082, 0.0083, and 0.0085 N.S/m². The study concludes that the cucumber hair tonic formulations maintained stable color and pH, suggesting their potential as a remedy for hair loss.
