While most evidence is observational, both mechanistic and psychosocial data support this connection. The review recommends incorporating sleep assessments into hair loss treatment and considering sleep-targeted interventions to enhance disease management and patient well-being. However, further longitudinal and mechanistic studies are necessary to establish causality and identify specific therapeutic targets.
