TLDR Alopecia patients have less GPER-1, which might affect hair loss.
The study found that people with androgenetic alopecia have lower levels of serum GPER-1 compared to healthy individuals, suggesting that GPER-1 may play a role in the development of the condition. The study included 40 AGA patients and 40 healthy controls. Further research is needed to confirm these findings and explore potential therapeutic implications.
